Give your readers a reason to click and a reason return each day to your blog. Pic of the Day or Movie of the Day is a nice little banner you can do on your blog. Feature a movie or a pic from a sponsor and let your reader click and see the pic… this will lead to a tour and hopefully will lead your reader to buy membership in your sponsors site.

Affiliates who send traffic that converts are valuable to sites. The best sites have Reps that work for them and are available to help you. Most can be contacted easily by ICQ and/or email and they can be an invaluable asset. I tend to promote the sites more if they have great support. Many times the information I need is on the site – but I cant find it…. I hit up my Rep in ICQ and he/she can point me to the right spot. Or I show my Rep my newest project and he suggests some marketing ideas I had not thought of.

One of my all time favorite Reps is Rage-Cash Ben. He is the most responsive of anyone I know, always has the answers and even lets me ask dumb questions about general webmastering!! Ben represents many sites, my favorites being Rage Cash with a bunch of great sites. An all time favorite site that converts with Niteflirt traffic is here…

Many sponsors offer multiple sites to promote, this gives you lots of options for sites to promote on your site. A central concept is… what you are promoting should be similar to your blog. If your blog is about FemDom cartoon sites would may not be your best option. The space on your blog or site if valuable real estate and to promote sites that have small chance of converting is throwing away the real estate.

Many of the quality sponsors have lists and tell you what sites are top selling and what sites are top converting. They are not always the same… Converting is the percentage of surfers who buy when the click. Top selling are the sites that have the most overall sales. I believe that top converting is better information as a webmaster – if sites consistently convert for others it should convert for me
